Topping 1 cup self-rising flour
1 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons shortening
½ cup milk
Methods/steps
Preheat oven to 400° F.
Peel and cube mango.Cook mango and sugar until mango begins to soften, stirring often.
Mix cornstarch in small amount of water and stir into hot fruit. Pour into an ungreased 2 quart baking dish and dot with butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
Mix flour, sugar, and shortening together with pastry blender (or two knives) until mixture looks like "meal." Stir in milk and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto hot fruit.
