Mango and Melon Salsa
Description Try it with chips and grilled fish.

¼ cantaloupe
¼ honeydew melon
1 mango
½ red pepper
5 cherry tomatoes
½ red onion
½ clove garlic or ½ teaspoon garlic salt
1 lime, juiced
cilantro, chopped
salt and black pepper
dash cayenne pepper
3-5 slices carambola, for garnish

Methods/steps
  • Dice melons, mango, onion and red pepper
  • Quarter tomatoes
  • Combine melon, mango, onion, red pepper, and tomatoes in a bowl
  • Mince garlic clove and stir into mixture (or use garlic salt)
  • Add lime juice and cilantro, mix
  • Salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste
  • Garnish with carambola (optional)
Additional Tips
Optional ingredients: cumin, honey
